Main Responsibilities

As a Bar Teamleader, you will have overall responsibility for the bar's guests and their experience. You will have a supervisory role in the operation and have the task and responsibility to ensure that guests and employees feel comfortable. The primary goal is to work towards high guest satisfaction and create regular guests as well as create ambassadors among our employees.

Job Responsibilities:

• Staffing – Assists the Bar Manager with staffing in the bar to meet the budgeted key performance indicators for efficiency, and ensures that staffing meets the operational needs to secure the guest experience.

• Offer – Assists the Bar Manager in ensuring that the offerings in the bar are interesting and in line with the developed concept. This also includes orders and preparations for menu updates in the bar.

• Planning – Ensures that planning for service is done efficiently and that bookings are optimized, through responsibility distribution within the team. This includes ensuring preparation, service work, and follow-up.

• Collaboration – The Bar Teamleader ensures a good willingness to collaborate within the bar team as well as with employees in other departments. All employees at Steam work towards the same common goal – “to create regular guests.” As Head Bartender, you have a significant responsibility in your specific bar but are also an ambassador for all of Steam's bars.
