JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a kitchen assistant, you will work with many different tasks that occur in a large kitchen. You will, among other things, work with packaging meal boxes delivered to clients, preparing salad buffets, and preparing for cooking, washing dishes, cleaning, managing the staff restaurant during lunch, and conducting self-control in accordance with applicable legislation. The work also involves supporting self-management with packaging and delivery as needed. Simple cooking may occur.

Currently, there are four chefs, three kitchen assistants, and one kitchen manager working in the kitchen at Salberga. They prepare food for clients who do not have self-management according to the cook and chill concept, as well as food for the prison's staff restaurant. Currently, about 1,400 portions are prepared per day.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who has:

• Completed upper secondary education or other training combined with work experience that the employer deems relevant.
• Experience working in a large kitchen.
• Computer skills.
• The ability to express yourself well in spoken and written Swedish.

Meritorious:

• Experience in packing and logistics work.
• Experience working with special diets.
• Experience working with self-controls.
