The Catering Department is looking for a substitute with an interest in food and service

We are 45 people who prepare and serve 3,500 meals per day to our guests at preschools, primary schools, high schools, and in care services. The Catering Department is responsible for 11 production kitchens, 4 reception kitchens, and 2 serving kitchens. We strive to cook from scratch, use Swedish ingredients, and make climate-smart choices.

Cooking close to our guests and offering high service and a pleasant reception for them are cornerstones of our operations.

Job Responsibilities

The job responsibilities include all tasks in our kitchens such as preparing salad buffets, cooking, self-control, orders, serving, dishwashing, and cleaning.

Qualifications

Basic catering education or equivalent training, as well as experience working as a kitchen assistant in a restaurant or large kitchen, is desirable.

We are looking for someone who is social, meticulous, engaged, flexible, stress-resistant, responsible, and has a high sense of service. You need to be able to speak and understand Swedish well. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.

Since the various kitchens are spread throughout the municipality and your assignment may be distributed across several units during a workday, a B driver's license and access to a personal car are advantageous, but not required.

To work in activities involving children and young people, you must provide an extract from the criminal record. The extract can be ordered from https://www.polisen.se (https://www.polisen.se) and must be valid for work in preschool and school.

Working Hours and Scope

Hourly employment as needed. Working hours during the day, and can be scheduled between 07:00-17:30. Weekend work may occur.

Start date according to agreement.

Hourly wage, individual salary setting.
