About the role

VARTA Automotive continues to grow and is now strengthening its position in the Norwegian market. We are looking for a driven and business-oriented Sales Manager who wants to take clear ownership of our continued success in Norway.

You will be employed by the Swedish company and work from a home office. For the role to work in practice, you need to be residing in Sweden, close to the Norwegian border. The role is remote towards the Norwegian market, but local presence is crucial, and the position therefore involves frequent travel in Norway (approximately three days per week). You will report to the Country Manager Sales, based in Stockholm.



Your responsibilities

As Sales Manager Norway, you will have a key role with significant responsibility and a great opportunity to influence. You will drive sales in the Norwegian market through increased local presence, customer-focused work, and well-adapted commercial strategies. The role combines strategic thinking with operational sales work, where you are close to both the business and the customer.

Your focus will be on:

  • Developing and driving sales in the Norwegian market
  • Building long-term relationships with wholesalers, retailers, and workshops
  • Conducting technical product training for mechanics and retailers
  • Developing and implementing regional and local marketing strategies in collaboration with the marketing manager
  • Handling inquiries, preparing quotes, and negotiating contracts
  • Ensuring pricing policy and providing feedback on market prices
  • Participating in trade shows and customer events
  • Monitoring budget, contribution margin, and sales development
  • Following up on orders and deliveries
  • Collaborating with the Product and Marketing Department as well as other internal functions to achieve common goals

Your Profile

We are looking for someone who is self-driven and takes clear ownership of their work, with a natural focus on results and business benefits. You thrive in a relationship-building role where collaboration is an obvious part of everyday life, and where you confidently represent the business in meetings, presentations, and training contexts. You feel comfortable in complex business situations where analysis, communication, and judgment are crucial. With genuine engagement, curiosity, and a business-driven approach, you are motivated to develop both customer relationships and the business over time.

To match the role, we also believe you have:

  • At least 3 years of sales experience in the Automotive Aftermarket
  • The ability to travel primarily within Scandinavia but sometimes also to other parts of Europe (about 3 days per week)
  • Swedish or Norwegian at a native level
  • Good knowledge of English in both spoken and written form
  • Good knowledge of IT systems and Office programs
  • Driver's license B
