We are looking for a Senior Software Test Engineer to help ensure quality, reliability, and performance in automotive embedded software systems. You will work closely with development and cross-functional teams, defining test strategies and validating functionality under real-world conditions using advanced test methods and tools. The role includes both manual and automated testing, with a strong focus on requirements-based verification and compliance with relevant industry standards.

• Design and maintain test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test scripts (SWE.6 SW Qualification Test).
• Set up and configure test environments to reflect realistic operating conditions.
• Execute manual and automated tests, identify defects, and document findings.
• Perform regression testing to ensure changes do not impact existing functionality.
• Develop and maintain automated test frameworks and Python scripts for ECU validation.
• Conduct performance, stress, and scalability testing to validate software robustness.
• Track, prioritize, and follow up defects using defect tracking tools.
• Analyze test results and report progress, metrics, and quality status to stakeholders.
• Perform root-cause analysis and recommend preventive improvements.
• Ensure traceability between requirements and test cases for validation and compliance.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of test methodologies, tools, and ways of working.
• Participate in design reviews and provide input to improve testability and software quality.

• Strong experience in software test development.
• Python-based test automation for ECU validation.
• Experience with HIL or SIL testing.
• Experience in test case specification, execution, and reporting.
• Understanding of requirements-based testing and traceability.
• Knowledge of industry standards such as ISO 26262 and ASPICE in testing activities.

• HIL testing in Vector-based systems (e.g., CANoe).
• CANoe and/or CAPL scripting.
• Experience with HV systems and/or powertrain systems.
• Knowledge of XCP, ETK, and/or VX1000.
• Electrical engineering background combined with strong programming skills (Python).
