The Social Administration is responsible for providing support, care, and assistance to people at different stages of life. In the authority home care department, we work based on the individual's needs and offer services according to the Social Services Act (SoL), primarily focusing on providing individuals with a safe and meaningful everyday life.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Do you want to work to provide people with support in difficult life situations while contributing to a legally secure and professional social work? We are now looking for a social worker for the home care department within the Social Administration, a role where you make a real difference for individuals and society.
As a social worker, you will work with authority exercises according to the Social Services Act. You will be responsible for investigation, assessment, decision-making, and follow-up of services. The work involves contact with individuals, families, and networks, as well as collaboration with internal and external actors. Documentation is done in the operational system Lifecare.
You will follow applicable legislation, guidelines, and working methods and be an important part of ensuring quality, legal security, and equal treatment. The work requires the ability to make independent decisions while contributing to good teamwork.
Your role will include, among other things:
- Investigating and making decisions according to SoL
- Following up on approved services
- Maintaining structured documentation
- Collaborating closely with colleagues, operations, and other authorities
- Participating in operational development and quality assurance
QUALIFICATIONS
To thrive in this role, you need to be confident in your professional competence, have a good approach, and be able to work both independently and collaboratively. You are proactive and handle challenges constructively. You have good prioritization skills, a structured and legally secure working method, and thrive in a role that requires both analysis and communication. You should have a knack for building relationships as you will have several points of contact, both internally and externally.
For the position, the following is required:
- Degree in Social Work or education that is deemed to provide equivalent competence
- Very good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both orally and in writing
Experience in authority exercises according to SoL and experience in documentation according to applicable legislation is meritorious.
