Kasam Treatment Families is now seeking a dedicated, experienced, and secure foster care consultant who wants to help develop our growing organization.

About us

Kasam Treatment Families is a specialist organization that provides consultant-supported foster care with a focus on children and young people with complex issues, often in combination with trauma, mental health problems, and neuropsychiatric difficulties.

We work in teams and closely with our foster homes, with clear structure, continuous follow-up, and high professionalism.

About the role

As a foster care consultant with us, you have a central role in the work surrounding the child and the foster home. You are responsible for support, guidance, and follow-up of the foster homes in their assignments and collaborate closely with social services and our internal team.

The work is independent but never lonely; you are part of a cross-professional team that includes treatment coordinators, family therapists, DBT therapists, special educators, and the operations manager.

Responsibilities

• Support, guidance, and follow-up of foster homes
• Regular contact and collaboration with social services
• Follow-up of care and implementation plans
• Documentation and reporting
• Participation in matching, follow-up meetings, and treatment conferences
• Recruitment and assessment of foster homes
• Contribute to the development of the organization's quality and working methods

We are looking for someone who

• Is a social worker or has another relevant higher education
• Has experience in private foster care and work within social services
• Is secure, structured, and relationship-building
• Works independently, goal-oriented, and solution-focused
• Has a good ability to express yourself in speech and writing
• Has a B driver's license

Meritorious

• Supervisor training
• Step 1 training in CBT, PDT, or family therapy
• DBT training
