For over 20 years, Gryning has offered HVB and open care for children, adolescents, and families, emergency and foster homes, addiction care, supported apartments, interventions against honor-related violence and oppression, as well as LSS housing. We provide counseling and training and assist with placements. Gryning is owned by the municipalities in Västra Götaland through the four municipal associations.

The Hagen treatment home is located in Kullavik, 20 km south of Gothenburg, and has two treatment departments; Överhuset (7 places for youth aged 14-18) and Nederhuset (6 places for children/youth aged 9-14) operating around the clock.

We are now looking for treatment staff for Nederhuset for a temporary position from January 22, 2026, to April 1, 2027.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

What does the position entail?

As treatment staff, you will have a milieu therapeutic role in the daily routines of everyday life. Supporting the children in their daily routines is an essential part of the job.

You will participate in treatment planning and perform qualified treatment work under supervision. You will document, maintain contact with clients, guardians, schools, and other important individuals in the young person's network.

The working hours are scheduled, including days, evenings, and weekends.

QUALIFICATIONS

Who are you?

We are looking for someone with at least a two-year post-secondary education, or an equivalent qualification, focusing on social work, social pedagogy, or behavioral science. Experience working with children and youth in vulnerable life situations and a good knowledge of legislation in the field is an advantage. We seek someone who can work independently and in a team and enjoys a job where no day is the same. To be comfortable in such a role, we believe you are solution-focused and self-assured. We place great emphasis on personal suitability, and a driver's license is required as travel is part of the job.
