Occupational Therapist for the Assistance Authority in Aneby Municipality

We are now looking for an occupational therapist for the Assistance Authority in Aneby Municipality, a parental leave position for about 1 year. Become part of our close-knit team that works together to provide the best possible support to our citizens and to each other.

About the Role

As an occupational therapist within the Assistance Authority, you will work closely with users both independently and in a team, focusing on preventive and rehabilitative work within social psychiatry, KAA, and financial support. This is done in coordination and collaboration with the assistance officers within the team as well as with social workers and other actors such as the region, the Employment Service, and the Social Insurance Agency.

You will, among other things:

• work to support young adults in finding paths to recovery/rehabilitation, independence, and activity
• make assessments of work capacity and functional level, ADL as a basis for interventions and follow-up.

The work is preventive and motivating to promote participation and independence.

Who You Are / Qualifications

We are looking for a licensed occupational therapist.

We are looking for someone who:

• is empathetic, attentive, driven, and solution-oriented
• has good communication skills with both users and colleagues in speech and writing
• thrives in a smaller work group where collaboration, helping each other, and team spirit are central
• can independently plan and execute your work, but is also a team player
• is interested in learning and wants to be involved in our development work and in preventive work for good and close care
• has experience of collaboration on labor market issues with the region, the Employment Service, and the Social Insurance Agency
• has a valid driver's license (B category)

It is an advantage if you have experience working in operational systems:

About the Workplace

The Assistance Authority in Aneby Municipality consists of three teams, each with its own unit manager: Assistance, Children and Youth, and Adults. The teams work closely together both within the unit and with our execution. We care about good internal coordination for collaboration and a holistic view. This is a significant part of our working method.

Within the Assistance team, we work cross-professionally as a team. We have both assistance officers within elderly care and within disability care LSS/social psychiatry as well as an occupational therapist.
