As a care assistant in home care, you will have a valued and important role.

In your role, you will:

• Support and assist care recipients with personal care, household chores, and medication management as delegated by a nurse
• Work from a health-promoting perspective to strengthen individual capabilities and create security
• Collaborate in a team focused on increasing the quality of life for our care recipients. You will have the opportunity to develop your knowledge and tools to strengthen person-centered work at your workplace

We in home care south consist of two units. One unit works in outer Heby, Morgongåva, Runhällen/Huddunge, and nearby areas, while the other unit works in central Heby. Our starting point is Lövsta elderly care home in Heby.

Right now, we have a permanent position with a distribution of 75% within our home care south unit and 25% within other operations of the Health and Care Administration.

The working hours are distributed during day and evening time and on weekends.

Is this you?

We want you to:

• Be a trained care assistant and can provide proof of professional qualification from the National Board of Health and Welfare if needed
• Have previous work experience as a care assistant
• Have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written - so you can communicate and document correctly
• Have good IT skills
• Have a valid driver’s license (B)
• Be flexible, attentive, and have a professional approach in meeting people
• Be able to work both independently and in a team and adapt to changes

In addition to medication delegation, you need to be able to take delegation for insulin, Fragmin, stoma, and dialysis. Previous delegation in any of these areas is an advantage. Previous experience as a care assistant in home care and/or elderly care is also an advantage.

Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.
