Support Assistant to Trelleborg Municipality
In Trelleborg, we work together for a growing successful community where life is good. Our 61 villages and 21 districts are creative meeting places that bubble with life. Here we want to do things, tell about them, and come just as we are. This makes us welcome others in the same generous and curious way.
Welcome to take your place on the journey!
The Mission of the Social Administration
The mission of the Social Administration is to work with social services and provide support so that everyone in the municipality feels safe and has the same opportunities in life. We want everyone to be able to be active and involved in society. With a focus on respect for the individual's right to decide over their own life, we are responsible for three important areas: care and support, assistance for people with disabilities, and help for individuals and families. Our goal is for everyone to receive the support and care they need.
The Workplace
Within the Department of Support Services, there are several group homes, daily activities, children's and youth homes, as well as short-term and leisure activities according to the LSS.
We start from a user-oriented perspective where users are given support and services based on individual needs. The goal is to enable independence, self-determination, and participation to the greatest extent possible, based on each user's ability.
We are now looking for you to join our service unit as a support assistant. We provide services to approximately 100 users with varying degrees of disabilities who live in their own apartments within Trelleborg Municipality. The users have decisions according to the Act on Special Support and Service (LSS) - service apartments; escort services; respite services, and also the Social Services Act (SOL) - housing support.
You will join a workgroup consisting of nearly 30 employees. We challenge ourselves daily by always wanting to be a little better than yesterday! What characterizes us is a high ambition to create a safe and developing environment with the users' best interests in focus.
We are looking for you who want an exciting assignment, with great opportunities to influence and develop in your professional role. Welcome to us!
What We Can Offer You

- Internal competence development
- Municipal-wide benefits
- The best colleagues
