We at Nordström Assistans are looking for a caring and active personal assistant for a wonderful 6-year-old boy who lives a life full of movement and joy, despite having several disabilities. He is a social boy who loves to walk, watch traffic, swim, take the bus, and be around other people. He loves books, bubbles, and balls.

About the position You need to have your heart in the right place and be calm in your demeanor, but also have a lot of energy. We prefer that you are creative, driven, and enjoy coming up with different activities together with the client. We are looking for a social person who sees the client's needs and opportunities. As a personal assistant, you will be closely involved in everything he does.

This includes helping with

• All personal care (e.g., hygiene, diaper changes, showering)

• Medication and tube feeding (training will be provided on-site)

• Accompanying the family on outings or engaging in your own activities (e.g., walks, swimming pools, etc.)

This is a physically active job with a lot of presence and physical contact - where gentleness and respect are central. The important thing is not that you have experience in the role of an assistant.

We will base our assessment on how you interact with the client and his family.

Working hours are scheduled as follows:

The work is based in Malmö and will primarily be distributed on Mondays and Wednesdays afternoons/evenings from 16:00 to 19:00, as well as every other weekend on Saturdays from 07:00 to 19:00 and Sundays during the day/evening from 10:00 to 19:00.

It is required that you

• are smoke-free,

• do not have allergies to pets,

• do not use strong perfumes or scents, as there are allergies in the family,

• are a good swimmer and enjoy swimming,

• have fluent knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written,

• are creative and take initiative,

• have a clean criminal record to work with children.

It is an advantage if you have

• a driver's license.

Scope: Part-time approximately 41% and extra/as needed. Number of positions: 2. Start date: By agreement, but we hope to fill the position as soon as possible. Salary: We apply individual salary setting. Other compensations are in accordance with collective agreements.
