Holmsund's Care and Nursing Home

Holmsund's care and nursing home is centrally located in Holmsund, with direct access to a health center, pharmacy, and grocery store. We offer great opportunities for outdoor activities thanks to balconies and patios, as well as a shared courtyard. The building has three floors and contains 59 apartments. Holmsund's care and nursing home consists of six units; three care and nursing departments, a short-term unit, a service house department, and a care and nursing department located in Obbola.

One of the most outstanding features of Holmsund's care and nursing home is our staff. Here, dedicated individuals work passionately to create a safe and homely environment for our residents. The staff consists of a wonderful mix of experience and youthful enthusiasm. We see our age range and different cultures as a strength.

We work based on a person-centered approach, where our operations are guided by the needs of our users. Our operations consist of 5 departments in Holmsund, as well as one department in Obbola.

Your Responsibilities

In this role, you will be responsible for providing our residents with good, safe, and secure care based on their individual needs. Responsibilities include assistance with personal care, meals, medication management, activities, and outdoor excursions.

Under the delegation of the responsible nurse, you will perform medical tasks and be responsible for documenting completed interventions, actions, and the residents' health status in accordance with applicable routines.

You contribute to a meaningful and safe everyday life through a professional approach and good communication. As a contact person, you will focus on the residents' participation and self-determination, ensuring that interventions are carried out with high quality in accordance with assistance decisions and implementation plans.

Working hours are scheduled for days, evenings, and weekends.

About You

We are looking for someone with experience in care, preferably within elderly care. It is advantageous if you are a trained nursing assistant or caregiver. Previous medication delegation experience is also a plus.

To communicate with users, relatives, and colleagues, write and access care documentation, and receive medication delegation, you must have good knowledge of the Swedish language in both spoken and written form.

Your interaction with the residents requires good competence based on personal suitability, maturity, and empathetic ability. You demonstrate a strong commitment to both users and the organization in all relationships and actions. You enjoy working independently and are patient and proactive. You have a good ability to collaborate and cooperate with colleagues, relatives, and other professionals.

Heavy lifting occurs, and mobility aids should be used. Smoking is present in the workplace, so you should not be allergic.
