Welcome to Frösö Health Center, beautifully located by the shores of Storsjö. We are now looking for a dedicated district nurse to join our wonderful team!

Primary care in Region Jämtland Härjedalen is organizationally part of the Division of Close Care, together with Ambulance, Public Dental Care, Psychiatry, and Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.

Primary care is organized into 4 local care areas, and since January 2022, primary care and ambulance care have been integrated under good and close care. Each local care area is an economic unit led by a manager. Primary care is also responsible for the region's medical advice, youth reception, and the local care department Näva, all of which are grant-funded.

Our health center is a pleasant and well-functioning workplace and is not far from Gustavsbergsbacken if you're eager for an evening ski after work. We have district doctors, ST and AT doctors, district nurses, nurses, diabetes nurses, nursing assistants, medical secretaries, and physiotherapists working here. Additionally, there is a family center with BMM, BVC, and open preschool. We also have a psychosocial reception.

We are over 50 wonderful employees and 2 dedicated unit managers who together provide patient-focused care to approximately 11,300 registered patients. Our workplace is characterized by a positive atmosphere and good team spirit. Care is provided based on the health choice model developed by the region in Jämtland County. We work person-centered in teams with Close Care to meet the needs of the patients who need us the most.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Working as a district nurse largely involves providing advice via phone and booking patient visits. In the counseling, we work with scheduled callbacks and can choose to sit together with four district nurses/nurses in a larger room, which simplifies the opportunity to consult a colleague.

In addition to your own reception with the usual reception work as a district nurse, we have, for example, diabetes reception, wound reception, and asthma/COPD reception. The work also includes assessing and receiving acute patients. During the work shift, there is always a so-called question doctor scheduled for consultation.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who are a licensed nurse with further education as a district nurse and prescribing rights, but also for those who are in training to become a district nurse or are a licensed nurse interested in studying to become a district nurse. Experience from working at a health center is an advantage.

Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability, where good collaboration skills and the ability to work flexibly are important. We would like you to be driven, curious, have a positive attitude towards new assignments, and have a change-oriented working method. In the work, you are expected to be able to work independently but also in a team.
