Business Description

The healthcare in the municipality is organized under the Department of Home Care, which is responsible for services provided by nurses, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, and a nursing assistant.
The work is performed in the patient's own home, ordinary housing.
We need to strengthen our team with an additional nurse.

Job Responsibilities

As a licensed nurse, you are responsible for healthcare services in the patient's home. The assignment includes coordinating care around the patients, where you are part of the team. The team consists of 8 nurses, a coordinating nurse, and a nursing assistant.
The home care nurses have close cooperation with the region's health centers, as well as with the palliative advisory team.
Working hours are during the day, with weekend duty every 8th weekend. Work time reduction means that you work full-time, 35.20 hours/week.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with a few years of experience as a nurse, preferably with experience from municipal healthcare.
It is advantageous if you are a district nurse. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability. Within the framework of the national minority language law, Gällivare municipality is the administrative municipality for Sami, Meänkieli, and Finnish. Knowledge of any of these languages is an advantage when applying for employment in Gällivare municipality.

A driving license (B) is required, as there will be some driving involved.
