We are looking for

We are looking for a licensed nurse who is confident in your professional role. You have a good command of Swedish in both speech and writing. It is an advantage if you have specialized training in psychiatry, have worked in the Cosmic journal system, have experience in psychiatric inpatient care, or speak more languages than Swedish. But most importantly, it is about who you are. You are structured, responsible, and enjoy taking initiative. You remain calm in stressful situations, can make decisions when necessary, and serve as a natural support for both colleagues and patients. In short – a person who is enjoyable to work with, even during an intense evening shift.

What you will work with

With us, you will work with meaningful inpatient care, where the patient is always at the center. In the role of a rotating nurse (day, evening, and weekend), you are an important cog in the team and a safe point for both patients and colleagues. Together with nurses, caregivers, and doctors, you will meet patients with various psychiatric diagnoses. Your tasks are varied and important: you provide safe and secure care, assess and follow up on patients' well-being, manage acute psychiatric situations, administer and follow up on medication treatments, document and report according to current routines. And perhaps most importantly, you contribute to creating a calm, structured, and safe care environment – even when the pace is high.

Information about the position

We offer you a permanent full-time position. Working hours day/evening/night. Region Norrbotten applies individual salary setting according to collective agreements.

The position is within psychiatry: Due to the nature of the operation and safety requirements, applicants to our operation must be prepared to provide a criminal record extract.

Contribute to our round-the-clock operation by ensuring that the position includes at least two weekend shifts per month.
