JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a nurse on-call, you will collaborate with other nurses within the social services in caring for our patients. You will be offered a stimulating and varied job where you have the entire Luleå municipality as your area of responsibility. You will need to have a car but will start from an office where you and your colleagues begin your shift. You will distribute tasks within the group and collaborate continuously during the shift.

Your tasks include performing planned and unplanned home visits to patients within home healthcare, support and service, and social psychiatry, as well as within care and nursing homes. You will make prioritizations, assessments of health and medical needs, and can guide others in a pedagogical manner. There is also a part of telephone counseling for staff and patients.

You will work closely with other nursing colleagues in the internal operations as well as with other healthcare providers.

You will work on a schedule and have the opportunity to choose/alternate between weekday evenings from 4:00 PM to 9:30 PM, weekend mornings from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, weekend afternoons from 2:00 PM to 9:30 PM, and half nights from 4:00 PM to 2:00 AM.

QUALIFICATIONS

To be considered for this position, you must meet the following requirements:

• You are a licensed nurse
• You have good medical competence, which means you can prioritize and make correct health and medical assessments independently
• You have good digital competence, which means you can handle computers, software, phones, and apps without difficulty
• You hold a valid driver's license (B)

In addition to this, you are considerate, stable, structured, and good at collaborating with others. Personal competencies are highly valued.
