Obstetrics/Gynecology in Norrbotten is a regional clinic operating at all five hospitals. Maternity care is centralized to Gällivare and Sunderby hospitals. Our team consists of doctors, social workers, midwives, nurses, nursing assistants, and medical secretaries. We are now looking for nurses to join our gynecology department in Sunderbyn for day/evening shifts.

We are looking for a licensed nurse with good knowledge of both Swedish and English, in both spoken and written form. We place great emphasis on personal qualities. We see you as a structured person who can plan, organize, and prioritize your tasks effectively. You are independent and have the courage to act according to your own convictions. We also see that you are flexible and can adapt to changing circumstances, as well as having an empathetic ability that allows you to understand someone else's perspective or situation without taking over their feelings.

This is what you will work with

As a nurse in our department, you will be responsible for the care of patients with various gynecological conditions, acute patients, pre- and post-operative care, as well as cancer care. You will work in a team consisting of doctors, nurses, and nursing assistants. The gynecology department operates 24/7 and has 7 care places. We are a small but close-knit team that constantly works on improvements and new methods to make everything as good as possible for our patients.

Information about the position

We offer a fixed-term employment until August 31, 2026. Working hours are scheduled for day, evening, and weekend shifts. Start date as soon as possible or by agreement. Region Norrbotten applies individual salary setting according to collective agreements.
