Pajala Municipality is the large (in area) small municipality located in the land of the Northern Lights and the Midnight Sun – Tornedalen, in eastern Norrbotten. Day and night, all year round, we work in the service of the community on behalf of the citizens. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a substitute in support and care, you can work in special housing or in the user's own home with the individual's needs in focus. You have a supportive role in developing the work based on each user's needs for increased participation and independence. The work involves helping/supporting individuals in their daily lives. This can include personal care, participating in daily activities and shopping, performing everyday tasks, assisting with personal hygiene, cleaning, leisure activities, and social interaction, etc. Documentation in journal systems is part of the job. To work in certain areas, you must complete training in medication delegation and transfer techniques. In some positions, solo work may occur.

QUALIFICATIONS

It is advantageous if you have any healthcare education or experience working with care. We place great emphasis on personal suitability. It is important that you have a positive attitude towards your work and that you enjoy meeting people. It is good if you are flexible, attentive, and have an easy time collaborating. The work as a substitute requires initiative and responsibility. To be considered for employment, you must have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written, and your language comprehension must be good. A B driver's license is required for work in home care.
