The home care service provides individually assessed services in the form of assistance and personal care in ordinary housing. The services aim to strengthen the individual's ability to manage on their own and make it possible for them to stay at home.

Job Responsibilities

As a care assistant/caregiver, you will provide services in the form of assistance and personal care in the user's home. We work based on quality and safety for the users. The goal is satisfied users, with their needs serving as the foundation for the services provided. You will meet the users' needs and involve them in the development of the action plan. The role also includes administrative tasks such as documentation, scheduling, and representative roles related to various work areas.

Qualifications

Three-year care program, caregiver training, or other training deemed equivalent. We are looking for someone who collaborates easily, is positive, flexible, and understands the importance of good communication and a positive approach to both users and their relatives as well as colleagues. A computer and mobile phone are used as work tools, and it is desirable that you have good computer skills. Your tasks include documenting and communicating with various parties, which requires good knowledge of the Swedish language in both speech and writing. Personal suitability is highly valued. Under the framework of the national minority language law, Gällivare municipality is the administrative municipality for Sami, Meänkieli, and Finnish. Knowledge of any of these languages is an advantage when applying for a position in Gällivare municipality.

A driver's license is required.

Working Hours/Duration

100% permanent employment. Working hours include days, evenings, and weekends. A probationary period may apply.
