About the job as Financial Controller

As a Financial Controller with us at Jefferson Wells, working with our client Vattenfall, you will play a key role in ensuring the quality of reporting and financial governance within the E-Mobility business area. You will be part of the Sales & Operation Sweden (S&O SE) department and support both the Director and Business Unit Controller with controlling-related tasks.

In this role, you will be responsible for driving and developing processes related to reporting, planning, and KPI follow-up. You will also act as an advisor on overarching controlling issues and contribute financial analyses to support decision-making. The focus will be on managing and improving the quality of reporting during a parental leave period.

Common tasks include:

• Responsible for business planning and goal processes.
• Manage the forecasting process and KPI follow-up.
• Conduct monthly closings and management reporting.
• Develop and maintain financial models.
• Support and challenge the Business Unit Controller in governance and oversight.
• Drive improvement initiatives and ad-hoc analyses.

The candidate we are looking for

We are looking for someone with a strong background in accounting and financial controlling who thrives in an analytical and advisory role. You are solution-oriented, communicative, and a team player who can collaborate with various parts of the organization. Experience in the energy sector is an advantage, and knowledge of e-mobility is a significant plus.

We would like you to have:

• Several years of experience in accounting and financial controlling.
• Good understanding of reporting processes and financial analysis.
• Ability to work independently and drive improvement initiatives.
• Strong communication skills in Swedish and English.
• Preferred: experience in the energy sector or e-mobility.
