District Nurse at Lugnvik Health Center
Do you want to be part of Region Jämtland Härjedalen – a region to long for and grow in? With us, you contribute to development and growth throughout the county and work to provide the best possible service, care, and support for everyone living in or visiting the region.
We offer a work environment characterized by collaboration, participation, and commitment, where both breadth and specialized skills are valued. Here you have the opportunity to develop in your role, whether you are new to the profession or have long experience.
The primary care within Region Jämtland Härjedalen is organized into 4 local care areas, and since January 2022, primary care and ambulance services have been integrated under good and close care. Each local care area is an economic unit led by a manager. Primary care is also responsible for the region's medical advice, youth clinic, and the local care department Näva, all of which are grant-funded.
Welcome to Lugnvik Health Center, located just outside the city center, with Storsjö just around the corner. Here, there are opportunities for wonderful running routes, cycling trips, and in winter, ice skating – perfect for those who enjoy combining work with fresh air and movement. With us, you will meet an open and positive work environment where we support each other and together create a good climate. Currently, we have over 7,500 registered patients. The health center is a well-functioning workplace with good routines, excellent collaboration mixed with a large portion of innovation. We have a stable staff group where we utilize each other's skills and create good conditions for the patient. The health center has a well-functioning multimodal team with physiotherapists, psychologists, rehabilitation coordinators, and doctors where patients are offered various treatments based on a person-centered approach. We have district nurses and nurses with their own areas of responsibility who, together with nursing assistants and medical secretaries, work at the top of their competence. The BVC, MVC, and physiotherapy departments are well-staffed with experienced employees, and we have two dedicated unit managers.
Do you want to be part of a team that combines competence, community, and development? Warm welcome to us!
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Working as a District Nurse with us consists largely of advising via phone and booking patient visits; we work with scheduled callbacks. In addition to your own clinic with regular nursing duties as a district nurse, we have, for example, diabetes clinics, wound clinics, and asthma/COPD clinics. The work also includes assessing and receiving acute patients and, if necessary, home visits.
The work is both varied and independent; close collaboration and teamwork are important!
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for someone who is a trained specialist nurse with a focus on district nursing with prescribing rights. We also welcome applications from nurses with basic training or other specialist training. Experience in primary care is an advantage.
Great importance is placed on personal suitability, where good collaboration skills and the ability to work flexibly are essential. We would like you to be driven, curious, have a positive attitude towards new assignments, and have a change-oriented work approach. In the work, you are expected to be able to work independently but also in a team.
