Licensed Occupational Therapist Wanted in Torvalla

Are you a licensed occupational therapist interested in working with a well-functioning team and opportunities for development in your role? Then this might be the job for you!

The unit for licensed personnel in Torvalla/Brunflo is now looking for two new colleagues in Torvalla to strengthen the team. Currently, the team consists of two occupational therapists, three physiotherapists, and three district nurses. Everyone in the team gathers and works from the shared location on Nävervägen in central Torvalla, with good bus connections. It is a very pleasant work group, and we have lunch together every day.

As an occupational therapist, you will serve our citizens within the Torvalla home care area as well as special accommodations in Torvalla and Odensala. You will have the opportunity to have your own office, and you will be close to the unit manager, who also has their office in the location. One floor down, the home care group in Torvalla is located, which is convenient when you need to delegate and follow up on delegated tasks. Both positions are permanent and full-time, scheduled during daytime on weekdays.

There are good opportunities for collegial support both at the workplaces and during professional meetings with other occupational therapists within our municipal home healthcare. The purpose of these meetings is both professional development and experience exchange, and they are usually very appreciated.

Your New Job

As an occupational therapist, you will plan, lead, and execute rehabilitation work. You will also be the one assessing needs and creating conditions for individuals to lead as meaningful a life as possible by providing necessary support interventions. The work includes prescribing aids and guiding staff and relatives. You will work closely with physiotherapists and district nurses, as well as collaborate with other licensed personnel and base staff within the area's home care groups and the special accommodations we work with.

Your Competence

Requirements

  • Licensed occupational therapist
  • Driver's license (B)

Meritorious

  • Work experience as an occupational therapist
  • Experience from municipal care
