Do you want to work with risk and safety issues that are crucial for how society is planned and developed? Are you motivated by working strategically in complex processes together with many stakeholders? Do you want to contribute to a safer and more sustainable Stockholm County?
Then we are curious to learn more about you.
What does the role involve?
As a risk management officer, you will work with issues related to accident risks in physical planning and contribute to the County Administrative Board's important role in the area of risk and safety. You will handle risk and safety issues in comprehensive and detailed plans as well as in road and railway plans. The role also includes business development and providing advice and guidance to municipal officers on risk and safety issues.
You will work in a unit that gathers expertise in climate adaptation and technical accident risks, where we see great potential in developing collaboration between the areas. The goal is to strengthen the authority's ability to drive and develop work on risk and safety for people and the environment.
The work involves collaboration with many stakeholders, including municipalities, rescue services, other county administrative boards, and government agencies. You will participate in both the County Administrative Board's own development projects and in the work of other stakeholders. In Stockholm County, large and complex planning projects often take place where risk issues are in focus, such as tunnel projects and covering of roads or railways. You may also be part of the County Administrative Board's crisis management organization during societal disturbances.
The role is placed in the climate and risk unit, and you will work closely with colleagues in climate adaptation, physical planning, environment, and law.

As a person, you are analytical and strategic, while also being results-oriented and responsible. You take initiative, collaborate well with others, and have an unpretentious attitude. You have the ability to see the big picture, make priorities, and adapt when circumstances change. We place great importance on personal qualities.
As an employee at the County Administrative Board, you need to:
- have the ability to make decisions based on a holistic view considering multiple perspectives
- understand that a central role for the County Administrative Board is to make trade-offs between different interests
- have the ability to prioritize and adapt to work with new tasks or in new contexts.
It is advantageous if you have:
