JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

The work carried out within the Dementia Unit in Tibro Municipality is unique and nationally recognized, as we work with a new and exciting approach where we follow the care recipient through the disease in a better way than has been done before. Special housing, short-term care, home care, and day activities are a joint operation, and we constantly strive to work with the individual at the center, wherever they may be in their illness.

We place great emphasis on creating good relationships with care recipients and their relatives, and we strive to provide good personal care and support, where the work of strengthening the self-esteem of the individual is central, and where social activities are an obvious part of the work. The position involves work both within housing and in home care.

You collaborate in the joint care and support work and actively participate in the workplace's quality and development work. Documentation and tasks delegated by the nurse are included. Therefore, it is important that you as an applicant have had and want to have delegation within HSL.

The current position is currently placed within the unit's special housing, short-term care, and day activities.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who is a care assistant and has completed nursing education, where specialist training in dementia and/or elderly care is an advantage, as well as experience working with individuals with dementia diseases.

You are passionate about working with individuals with cognitive impairment.

You should have good computer skills and be able to express yourself well in Swedish, both verbally and in writing.

A valid driver's license (B) is required.

Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability.

To be considered for the position, you need to present proof of a protected professional title from the National Board of Health and Welfare. If you are currently permanently employed as a care assistant, we need to receive a certificate of employment stating title, employment form, and employment period, which confirms that you are covered by the transitional regulations for permanently employed staff as of July 1, 2023.

OTHER

The position involves work during days/evenings/weekends. Please note that pets are present in our operations.
