About the position

Meliva VC/BVC Masthuggskajen is a health center under development; as we grow, we shape our working methods together. We consider the whole patient and are proactive in promoting health. Primary care involves a broad range of services, and today we have BVC, elderly care, diabetes, asthma COPD, and menopause clinics.

Are you interested in working at our Drop-in clinic? Here, we all work together, including nurses, doctors, and district nurses, in close collaboration. We aim to meet our patients' needs in the best way possible with high accessibility. We need you who enjoy working in a team and can easily switch between your tasks. With a newly started health center, flexibility, a focus on development, and high patient safety are required.

We are looking for a nurse with a burning interest in Drop-in, who wholeheartedly meets our patients with both mental and physical concerns.

As a nurse with us, you will work with standard tasks within primary care, including telephone advice, outpatient work, and digital patient meetings. The work involves both urgent and planned visits, as well as collaboration with home care when needed.

Responsibilities may include:

• Assessment and advice via phone, chat, and video meeting
• Drop-in work and support of the doctor's outpatient work
• Asthma COPD clinic
• Wound care, vaccinations, lifestyle counseling, and coordination of chronic care
• Collaboration with other professionals within the team for comprehensive care
• Active participation in quality and improvement work

We are looking for you who:

• Are a licensed nurse with experience in primary care
• Have an interest in asthma/COPD
• Are confident in your professional role and have a good ability to independently assess the patient's needs
• Have good communication skills, are empathetic, and meet patients professionally
• Are structured and responsible, yet flexible and solution-oriented
• Enjoy teamwork and contribute to a good work climate
• Are interested in participating in organizational development and digital care forms

Meritorious: previous primary care work, Asthma-COPD nurse, CBT therapist, experience in acute care and health conversations.
