Do you want to be part of continuing to develop the child and adolescent psychiatric services in Ystad? We are now looking for a specialist or senior physician who, together with competent and dedicated colleagues, wants to make a difference for children and adolescents with mental health issues.

Bup Ystad consists of a reception unit where outpatient care is the foundation of the clinical operations, and there is also an intermediate care unit, an eating disorder team, and an infant and toddler unit. We are a team of about 45 employees. We have a close collaboration with the habilitation clinic regarding shared patients. The Mariam clinic is also nearby.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We are looking for someone who wants to work as a specialist or senior physician with young patients at Bup Ystad. With us, you will join an engaged team of experienced colleagues who support each other and focus on the patient. You will be offered a stimulating job where the mission is to be part of the interventions for our patients - in-depth assessment, investigation, and treatment. In this work, you will collaborate with colleagues, care partners, and other important actors for the patient, such as schools and social services. You will have a central role in guidance and consultation to and from other colleagues, both individually and in treatment conferences.

Your role includes contributing to good and patient-safe care, and as a physician with us, you are an important link in the ongoing development work. We see Bup Ystad as a workplace where our work is characterized by collaboration. There is also good support among colleagues in the area. We work in accordance with national guidelines and regional standardized care processes. Within Bup Skåne and in our area, both short- and long-term development work is ongoing in various areas, and we expect you to be interested in engaging in the development of care and operations.

Continuing education and the opportunity to combine work with research are offered as part of the needs of the operations and patients. As a specialist or senior physician, you will be invited to participate in both Bup's and the entire psychiatry's continuing education for specialists, as well as regular local and regional physician meetings.

Working hours are scheduled weekdays from 08:00 to 16:30 with the possibility of flexible hours. Additionally, on-call duty is included in Bup Skåne's overall backup line in Malmö.

QUALIFICATIONS

You who are applying are a licensed physician with permission to practice in Swedish healthcare. You also have specialist competence in child and adolescent psychiatry or adult psychiatry. Language skills in Swedish at least corresponding to level C1 according to the Council of Europe's level scale are required. You should have completed or planned a course in clinical supervision. It is also an advantage if you have experience working with children and adolescents suffering from mental health issues.

For employment as a senior physician, you must also have:

• Full-time employment of at least three years (documented effective time)
• Clinical skill and independence in the field
• Defined medical responsibility and knowledge area
• Documented teaching and supervision merits.

At a university hospital unit, it is required that physicians have pedagogical experience and education. This can be acquired through supervision of, for example, nursing and medical students, as well as physicians in training and as co- or main supervisors of doctoral candidates. Clearly describe in your application completed or planned pedagogical courses, experience in supervision and teaching at various levels.
