The Medical Acute Care Unit is an inpatient department with 13 beds characterized by a faster patient flow. Here, we primarily care for medical patients with an expected short length of stay, but also patients who need to be transferred to another department for specialized care or longer stays.

Centralsjukhuset Kristianstad (CSK) is the acute hospital for northeastern Skåne. Here, emergency care is provided around the clock by qualified and dedicated staff. CSK has the resources of a large hospital while maintaining the closeness and community of a smaller hospital.

RESPONSIBILITIES

In the Medical Acute Care Unit, you will work with patients in inpatient care. Here, you will gain broad competence in the entire acute medical field and have the opportunity to participate in the development of care and the department. In this role, you will have a great opportunity to develop in several areas simultaneously and strengthen your nursing role.

We are looking for someone who can work varying hours, including days, evenings, and nights.

QUALIFICATIONS

We welcome you as a licensed nurse with the authority to practice in Swedish healthcare. Furthermore, you have language skills in Swedish that correspond to at least level C1 according to the Council of Europe’s language scale. Experience in emergency care/hospital care is considered an asset. The same applies to experience with telemetry monitoring and other medical equipment, as well as the care systems Melior and PASiS.
