About the role and your tasks

With us, you have the opportunity to work in different roles. As a permanent care contact, you are responsible for ensuring that a care plan is established and followed up for your users. The staff group is divided into smaller sections, with 2-3 permanent care contacts who, together with a runner, are responsible for the work with the users in the section. You may also visit other users.

As a resource, you work in more than one area. Your shifts are scheduled within the four areas; home care areas Södertull, Järnåkra, Klostergården, and Laurentii. You are flexible and enjoy meeting new colleagues and working in several units. As resource personnel, you work where the need is greatest and create security, warmth, and care for people who truly need it.

Your work is guided by the needs of individuals. A workday can consist of providing support and assistance with personal care, care work, medical interventions delegated by a nurse, and other assistance that the person you support needs. Documentation is done in Lifecare. Your role also includes contributing to the development of the operation and maintaining good quality.

We are now looking for nursing assistants for permanent employment or longer temporary positions. We offer everyone to work full-time, which means 36 hours and 20 minutes a week. Everyone works every other weekend. If you work days, the working hours are from 07:00 to 15:00.

We are looking for you who

• are a trained nursing assistant.
• have experience in care work, which is an advantage.
• To work in home care, cycling experience is required, and in some areas, a driver's license.
• Good knowledge of the Swedish language is required in both speech and writing.
• You also need to have good digital skills, for example, in connection with documentation.

You are responsible, committed, flexible, and attentive - with users, relatives, and colleagues. You understand how important it is for each individual to be involved and have influence over their everyday life.

About the workplace

The home care of Lund Municipality is divided into several geographical areas. In each area, nursing assistants and care assistants work in teams with health and medical staff under the leadership of a unit manager. Each area has a unit administrator and coordinator/planner. At Stora Södergatan 49, the home care teams Södertull, Järnåkra, and night home care are located. The premises are situated in central Lund with good communication opportunities. The users are in the surrounding area, and we reach them by bike or on foot. We work as a team, and all health and medical staff, office, and administration are under the same roof.
