Job Description

As a security guard, you have a genuine desire to build good relationships and respect everyone, regardless of background. You are employed by Securitas but work under the police authority's regulations. Your main task is to make people feel safe in their daily lives. You do this through your presence in public places, which hopefully has a calming effect, but if the situation requires it, you are expected to act.

Securitas has varied assignments that in one way or another make a significant impact on other people's lives, and here you have the opportunity to make a real difference!

The position is a summer temporary position, so we hope you are available for work between weeks 25-33. Securitas will assign you a schedule so you can plan your summer with both work and enjoyable activities in good time! Whether you want to work day or night, in a fast-paced or calm environment, Securitas has the job for you.

The current assignment involves maintaining order at one of our assignments, which can be public places or stationed at a client. You will be based at the client in Trollhättan and will primarily work 12-hour shifts either day or night. You will collaborate closely with guards on the same assignment.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who is a calm and stable person who can maintain composure even when a lot is happening around you. You are humble, team-oriented, and service-minded in your interactions with the public, but you also understand the responsibility in your role and can remain objective when required. Great emphasis will be placed on your personal suitability for the position.

• You have a security guard training and a valid security guard license
• Approved grades in Swedish and English from the first year of high school
• Driver's license B

For employment within Securitas Sweden AB, it is required that you have approved grades from high school in Swedish and English and are approved by the County Administrative Board for employment in an authorized security company according to the Act (1974:191) on security companies (the application is made by Securitas). Depending on the position, a security check according to the Security Protection Act (2018:585) may also be relevant. To investigate and assess whether you meet the requirements to be approved according to the respective legislation, a background check will be conducted. The assessment concerns legal compliance, suitability, reliability, loyalty, and any vulnerabilities. Information collected may come from you, open sources, or authorities. We apply a holistic assessment when evaluating suitability for each position.

Salary and employment conditions are based on the collective agreement between the employer organization Security Companies and the Swedish Transport Workers' Union.
