About us

The Municipal Association of the Public Transport Authority in Västernorrland, better known as Din Tur, is a smaller public organization with a significant responsibility. We work every day to ensure that the residents of the county have access to an efficient and well-functioning public transport system. For this to work, we must have the right skills and digital tools in place. Our organization is small, flat, and efficient with short decision-making paths. We are characterized by close collaboration, a lack of prestige, and a strong focus on quality, efficiency, and social benefit.

What does the position entail?

As an IT Specialist at Din Tur, you will work broadly with operations, maintenance, implementation, and more in our IT environment. You will be a key person in ensuring that our organization has well-functioning IT support and that our infrastructure is secure and sustainable. You will primarily specialize in our traffic management system and vehicle equipment such as vehicle computers.

More concretely, your tasks will include:

• solving problems and adapting solutions to achieve an efficient and stable IT environment
• IT security/security solutions
• installation and configuration of hardware and software
• participating/driving and participating in development projects

Who are you?

To take on this role, you should have broad competence in the IT field and, of course, a great interest! We see that you have a relevant education for the position or alternatively documented experience and competence that we assess meets our requirements. How you are as a person is extremely important to us. We see you as self-driven, solution-oriented, motivated by challenges, and seeing opportunities instead of problems. Of course, you have good collaboration skills and are in your element when you get to work together with others in a smaller team where a lack of prestige is an important quality.

Further requirements for the position are that you have:

• at least 2 years of experience working as an IT Specialist
• a good understanding of IT operations, system management, and information security
• good knowledge of Windows environments, networks, Microsoft 365, and client management
• good communication skills in Swedish, both spoken and written
• driver's license B

It is an advantage if you have:

• experience working with IT projects
• post-secondary education in IT or equivalent experience
• experience in the development of e-services

Who are we?

Din Tur is the transport concept and brand of the Public Transport Authority in Västernorrland County. It is owned by members which include Region Västernorrland and the county's seven municipalities.

With us, you will find buses, taxis, train traffic, special transport, and medical transport. Annually, approximately 10,000,000 trips are made with Din Tur. We want to increase accessibility by creating efficient and sustainable travel with a focus on safety. Today and tomorrow, we reduce the county's negative environmental impact by offering advantageous alternatives to cars.
