Attendo Kapellgärdet Norra is a large and modern nursing home in Uppsala with 99 apartments distributed across six departments – three dementia departments and three care departments.

Job Description

We are now looking for a nursing assistant who wants to become part of our fantastic team. Your main task is to work with person-centered care for our customers. On weekends, light cleaning and cooking are also included.

For this position, independence is particularly important, as the role also includes a responsibility assignment as concept manager for Sport & Spa. In this assignment, you will:

• Plan, coordinate, and develop activities within Sport & Spa and promote our concept

• Work closely with the operations manager and group leaders

• Collaborate with our activity responsible employees

• Drive development and improvement work related to health, movement, and well-being

This is a role for you who enjoys taking responsibility, thinking long-term, and turning ideas into reality.

Teamwork is a given throughout our residence. With us, nursing assistants, nurses, rehabilitation staff, group leaders, cleaning staff, kitchen staff, spa therapists, and the operations manager work towards a common goal – to create security, quality, and joy of life for our customers.

It is an advantage if you have experience from care work in elderly care as well as delegation and if you have previously worked with larger areas of responsibility such as activities for the elderly.

Qualifications

• Nursing assistant education of at least 1350 points.

• Professional certificate from the National Board of Health and Welfare or a certificate from current/former employer regarding permanent employment as a nursing assistant.

• Good knowledge of the Swedish language, spoken and written

• Good computer skills

• Are a trained nursing assistant and have experience in care work

• Enjoy providing good service and creating fine, long-term relationships

• Are independent, humble, and responsible

• Are passionate about care for the elderly and see the individual's unique needs

• Have previously worked with larger areas of responsibility, such as activities or projects for the elderly
