What we offer you!

Our operations are located throughout the municipality, so there is an opportunity to work near where you live.

You are responsible for getting to the workplace, so make sure public transport goes to where you wish to work if you do not have a driver's license.

When you submit your application, you can choose which areas within elderly care you are interested in; home care, nursing homes, or short-term/ respite care.

We offer you work all summer. The summer positions extend from weeks 23–35 and have varying degrees of employment. In your application, you indicate when and where you prefer to work. Working hours are scheduled and may involve work both day, evening, night, and weekends.

To ensure you feel safe and prepared for your summer job with us, we provide you with thorough training.

This is what you will be working with:

• Assisting with personal care, such as showering, hygiene, dressing, and toilet visits, as well as support during meals.
• Working according to a person-centered care model where you tailor support to the individual's unique needs and wishes.
• Supporting with daily tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and minor purchases in the local area.
• Participating in social activities, providing support and guidance.
• Documenting in digital systems.
• Collaborating with colleagues, nurses, occupational therapists, and physiotherapists, as well as working with relatives.
• Following workplace routines and guidelines.

Who are you?

If you are studying or have studied the nursing and care program or another similar education, it is a big plus. Attach a certificate from the National Board of Health and Welfare or a certificate that you have had a permanent position as a nursing assistant by July 1, 2023, in your application. Previous experience in elderly care is an asset.

We are looking for someone who:

• has good digital skills
• has good knowledge of Swedish, both in reading, speaking, and writing, where you need to complete a language test in connection with your application.
• is over 18 years old
• has a driver's license if you are interested in working in home care

We value your personal qualities and are looking for someone who is confident, flexible, and takes responsibility for their own tasks. You have a good ability to collaborate and build relationships with a respectful and helpful attitude. You understand the needs and feelings of others.

Other

We conduct language tests for positions within elderly care, so you need to complete a test with your application. A link to the test will be sent in the message when you apply.

Before employment, you need to show your passport/national ID. If you have citizenship from a country outside the EU/EES/Switzerland, you also need to show your residence/work permit. This is to ensure your identity and your right to work in Sweden.

Before employment in the care administration, we want you to present a valid extract in an unopened envelope. You can already order a criminal record from the police to expedite the recruitment process: Order the extract called Control of your own data in the criminal record.

To be employed as a nursing assistant with us, you need to present proof of a protected professional title from the National Board of Health and Welfare or a certificate from the employer of permanent employment as a nursing assistant before July 1, 2023. Attach this to your application.
