At Viljan Närsjögläntan HVB, we have 8 places and work with girls aged 13-17 with psychosocial and neuropsychiatric difficulties.
The overall goal of the interventions offered at Närsjögläntan is that the girls, after their placement period, have increased opportunities to live an independent life. This often involves establishing good daily routines, receiving support and help to change behavioral problems, ensuring a good and regular school attendance, and improving physical and mental health.
Närsjögläntan HVB is located a few kilometers from the center of Falun. The houses are beautifully situated next to the Sundborn River where we have our own dock and swimming area with opportunities for swimming, canoeing, and barbecue evenings. We have a large garden with fruit trees, berry bushes, and opportunities for cultivation.
At Närsjögläntan HVB, all girls have their own room, sharing bathrooms and laundry facilities with a few other girls. In the large dining room, we eat all meals together. There are several other communal areas such as a kitchen, dining room, living room, TV room, and craft and game areas.
About the role of treatment assistantWith us, you will work together in a team that collectively leads the youths' treatment processes forward. We work with commitment in everything concerning our youth. The job involves meeting people in crisis and/or with difficult life situations, and it is of great importance that you can see opportunities, convey hope, and meet people in a respectful and safe manner. Together with the youth, you create a functioning and secure everyday life.
Qualifications
You are inspiring and relationship-building and have a good ability to establish contact with people in vulnerable situations. You are calm, stable, and can maintain a realistic perspective on situations that arise in daily work. You have good collaboration skills and relate to others in a responsive manner and enjoy collaborating with others. You are an independent, humble, and responsible person who is passionate about care work and can see the individual's needs.
We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
QualificationsRequirements:
Educated or in training as a social worker, behavioral scientist, or social pedagogue with a minimum of 400 YH credits.
Previous experience working with children and youth, preferably in HVB.
Preferred:
Experience with methods such as KOBTIVA, KASAM, and RePulse
Role: Treatment Assistant
Employment form: Hourly substitute, as needed
Working hours: Day, evening, night, weekend
Start date: By agreement
