We are looking for an engaged Service Manager and team leader who wants to drive the work with our integration platform. Organizationally, you will belong to RISE's IT department, whose ambition is to create the right conditions for effectively and safely maintaining and further developing sustainable IT services for all our operational areas. The IT department currently consists of about 70 people and is characterized by an ambitious and collegial work climate where you have great opportunities to influence and drive change. You will be part of the Development Support unit, which consists of the areas of system development, integration, automation, and business intelligence.

About the roleYour mission is to lead the work of further developing and managing RISE's integration platform. The platform currently consists of technologies such as Apache ActiveMQ, Apache Camel with Spring Boot, and WSO2 API Manager, and is internally referred to as PLINI. PLINI is operated in a Kubernetes environment where Rancher is used as a configuration tool.

As a service manager, you ensure that the services within the service area deliver according to agreed requirements regarding functionality, quality, and economy. You have both architectural and operational responsibility for the platform. You formulate, apply, and develop the strategy for the service area, as well as budget and follow up on financial outcomes.

You lead a team of integration and system specialists and are involved in the entire development chain, from architecture, needs analysis, and requirement specification to the final delivery of new integrations and changes to existing solutions.

The role involves many contact points, and you will have close collaboration with clients, information owners, and colleagues in the IT department, such as architecture councils and operations and support functions. You will also have ongoing contact with external suppliers. The position is located in Borås, and we currently operate from a hybrid working model where many employees choose to split their working time between the office and home.

You are communicative and have the ability to explain complex technical solutions in an understandable way for different target groups while being responsive to the needs of the business.

Requirements:

• University or college education in IT and/or computer science

• Experience working with complex solutions for system integration

• Experience in system development and actively developing and maintaining systems in a professional environment

• Experience in information architecture, including structuring, organizing, and modeling information for systems or businesses

• You are fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.

Meritorious:

• Experience in project management, product ownership, and/or work as a team leader

• Good knowledge of standardized Open Source tools for Java
