District Manager at Biometria

About the Role

You will have independent responsibility for the district, which includes 10 measurement sites, 5 terminals, and approximately 24 employees.

You lead with a coaching and inclusive style, ensure the quality of our work, and build long-term relationships with employees, customers, and partners. As a District Manager, you will either be stationed at your home or at our office in Falun. You will have primary responsibility for personnel and operations within your district.

The Mitt area consists of six districts ranging from Uddevalla/Södertälje in the south to Sälen and Gävle in the north. The management group of Mitt consists of six district managers and the area manager. As part of the management group for the Mitt area, you contribute to development work and improvement projects. You lead your employees remotely, but a large part of the work takes place in the district, which means regular travel several times a week – a chance to be close to the operations and create strong relationships.

Your Responsibilities

• Ensure quality and daily operations at the measurement sites
• Personnel and work environment responsibility
• Recruit, lead, and coach employees
• Build customer relationships and ensure value in our services
• Work with goals, results, and budget
• Participate in improvement work and development projects

We are looking for someone who:

• Has post-secondary education or equivalent experience
• Has leadership experience with personnel and work environment responsibility
• Is communicative, attentive, and clear
• Can make decisions, prioritize, and plan effectively
• Has good computer skills and confidence in digital systems
• Has a valid driver's license (B)
• Lives within or near the district

Preferred Qualifications:

• Background in forestry or knowledge of the forestry industry
• Experience in change management or development projects
• Experience with budget responsibility and/or financial follow-up
