Job Responsibilities

Working in elderly care is an important and rewarding job, and we are looking for someone who, together with colleagues, wants to meet tomorrow's welfare needs to develop good and safe care through a professional and high-quality operation. The assignment includes contributing to your own, the group's, and the organization's development as well as promoting a good work environment. Home care is provided based on the individual’s needs and is at the center of our operations, where staff adopt a salutogenic approach in their interventions. The assignment is primarily governed by the Social Services Act (SoL), the Public Access to Information and Secrecy Act (OSL), the Health and Medical Services Act (HSL), the National Board of Health and Welfare's regulations and general advice, as well as municipal governing documents.

In the role of nursing assistant, you will be part of a home care team consisting of about 40 employees. As a nursing assistant in home care, your work will involve daily care and support for the elderly and their individual needs. You will work closely with colleagues from various professions such as nurses, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, and care managers, performing interventions that contribute to the well-being of the elderly. Working as a nursing assistant means meeting the individual's basic and specific care needs socially, culturally, physically, and mentally. You will do this by respecting and valuing each person's right to privacy and bodily integrity, self-determination, participation, and individual adaptation for the well-being of the individual. The assignment also includes being a care contact, writing implementation plans, and social documentation. You will adopt a health-promoting approach that focuses on the healthy aspects and the possibilities, as well as the resources available to each individual.

We are now looking for two new colleagues for temporary positions for at least 6 months with a working percentage between 80-100%. If you are interested in working only evenings, one of the positions can be adjusted to that.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who is a trained nursing assistant and has certification from the National Board of Health and Welfare allowing you to use the protected title of nursing assistant. You also have previous experience in care and support and a valid driver's license (B). You are proficient in Swedish, both spoken and written, as there will be contact with clients, relatives, healthcare, and documentation. We also prefer candidates who have digital skills and an interest in digital tools, as you will be using both a mobile phone and a computer in your daily work. It is advantageous if you have previous experience working with Combine and/or Medvind.

To succeed in this role, we see that you have good collaboration skills and can prioritize and remain calm even in stressful situations. You have the ability to be attentive and see people's specific needs, thus being able to meet them individually. Furthermore, you have the ability to independently plan and structure your work based on current conditions and the expectations placed on a nursing assistant. Your attentiveness is crucial for building trusting relationships with our elderly clients, their relatives, and colleagues. In your interactions with clients, integrity and empathetic ability are paramount. We place great importance on personal suitability.
