Welcome to the Labor Market and Education Administration in Bodens municipality! We have a collective responsibility for integration, labor market, education, and employment issues that concern our municipality's residents. The administration is also responsible for the Culture School and food supply and performs tasks for the medical and psychological aspects of student health in municipal preschool, primary school, adapted primary school, high school, and adapted high school.

Svartbjörnsbyn School is a F-6 school located a few kilometers outside central Boden. The school has about 150 students and has a high degree of qualified educators in all professional groups within the school. We work with participation and influence and have the student at the center. We place great importance on Svartbjörnsbyn School being characterized by safety and study peace with a well-functioning student health work where teaching is interesting and understandable with high goal fulfillment. Digital tools are a natural part of teaching, and we invest in nature and movement through outdoor days, outdoor activities both in forests and fields, as well as on the schoolyard and planned break activities. Collaboration and consensus regarding students and approaches are important parts of our work to create the best possible school. Through play, creativity, and outdoor activities, students are given opportunities to influence and see their own learning and successes in various contexts, thus being smoothly prepared for the transition to grade 1. We create an environment where students' curiosity is awakened, and they take the initiative to learn. The activities in the after-school program should be safe, fun, and stimulating, where play and creativity have a large space and are shaped according to the students' age, maturity, needs, interests, and experiences. The after-school program places great emphasis on play, physical activity, and creative activities.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

The current position includes the following responsibilities: Work in the after-school program, be a resource in the classroom, and work as a safety resource. You will plan, implement, and follow up on teaching together with colleagues in the after-school program. You will have joint planning time with the after-school educators in addition to your individual planning. You will be part of the school's safety team and will also work on other tasks related to the assignment. You work to motivate and inspire your students to learn and support them in their social and academic development.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who is a qualified teacher in after-school programs with a license or has other education that the employer assesses as equivalent or has experience working with children and youth. If you have not yet received your license or are at the end of your education, you are also welcome to apply. You have the ability to create good and trusting relationships with colleagues, students, and guardians. You are a positive and loyal person and have high expectations for students' ability to develop. Educational issues interest you and drive you forward. In addition, you are flexible and solution-focused.

OTHER

Please attach your teaching license or diploma. A criminal record extract must be presented before employment in preschool and primary school.
