The work as a residential assistant at Inagården is largely a practical environmental therapeutic job. Among other things, it involves working towards set treatment goals, documenting, listening, and providing support to residents through a professional approach. You will provide them with support in daily tasks to create a functioning daily rhythm and motivate them to engage in activities, such as outdoor excursions, training, swimming, cooking, daily activities, etc. We are looking for someone with a good approach, a positive view of humanity, and a genuine interest in working with people. As a person, you are clear, stable, can set boundaries, and be a good role model in both words and actions. You have good collaboration skills, great patience, and take responsibility in your work. You can work flexibly and proactively. You should be able to express yourself well in spoken and written Swedish as documentation is important. You need to have a good ability to collaborate in groups of both colleagues and residents. We would like you to have previous experience working with the target group. It is an advantage if you are a trained nursing assistant and/or have worked in psychiatry. Inagården is a treatment home for adults with complex behavioral disorders. Here, we take care of people that society would rather ignore, and we help them towards a future without chaos. The goal of our work is for our clients to be able to live a life that is as normal, independent, and fulfilling as possible. We started in Tärnsjö in 1998 and have a total of 20 places, of which 4 are LSS places. We also have an agricultural property where we have horses, sheep, and chickens in the operation. The proximity to the Dalälven river means we often go on fishing trips. In Älvkarleö, we have 18 HVB places distributed over three departments in newly built facilities that were inaugurated in April 2010. Our closest neighbors are the Dalälven river, the forest, and the train station, which offers good commuting opportunities to Gävle and Uppsala.
