The main mission of the Health and Care Office is to meet the needs for support, care, and assistance primarily for the elderly, making a difference in these interactions. We are also responsible for providing meals to preschools, schools, and the Health and Care Office's operations.

Timmermansgatan 62:1 is a home care unit based in Hageby, but we are currently located in temporary premises in Guldringen. We perform approved services in people's homes (ordinary housing) and work in the areas of Atrium, Silver and Guldringen, Ensjön-Åselstad, Styrstad, Tingstad, Smedby, Lida kullar, Rambodal, and Lindö.

With a user-oriented approach, we primarily help the elderly live an independent and secure life in their own homes, always based on their individual needs and decisions from care managers.

With us, you will meet people with different needs and life situations, and you will have a meaningful job every day. As part of our team, where staff work in different care teams depending on the area, you will have the opportunity to work independently while being an important part of an operation focused on security, continuity, close care, and quality.

The unit has a shared leadership between two managers who closely collaborate for the common unit. Our team consists of about 50 dedicated employees divided into 7 different care teams.

We are now looking for a temporary nursing assistant who wants to make a difference with us!

Your Responsibilities

As a nursing assistant in home care, you have a significant role in creating security and quality of life for our users in their own homes.

You provide individualized and professional care, paying attention to and meeting physical, mental, and social needs. You provide personal care, which may include assistance with hygiene, dressing, and medication management.

You also contribute to a pleasant home environment by helping with household chores such as cleaning, shopping, and laundry. In addition, you have an important social role where you create security and community through conversations, walks, or other activities that contribute to the user's well-being.

You work both independently and in good collaboration with colleagues and other professionals, where together you create quality in care and assistance. Documentation and registration of deviations are a natural part of your work to ensure good continuity and quality. You also contribute to operational development and follow the existing routines regarding the work.

You have contacts with relatives, care managers, and home healthcare. It is particularly important to be aware of changing needs.

Our operations are scheduled between 6:30 AM and 10:00 PM every day of the week, and you will work every other weekend.

Who are you?

We are looking for someone who is a trained nursing assistant according to the National Board of Health and Welfare's regulations. You have experience working in care and assistance.

As a person, you are calm, secure, and have a good attitude towards those you meet. You communicate clearly and adapt your communication based on the recipient.

You collaborate well with others but also enjoy working independently.

You work independently, see what needs to be done, and take the initiative to provide the best possible care. At the same time, you are collaborative and enjoy contributing to and supporting colleagues in your team.

Furthermore, you are flexible and can adapt when plans change in daily work. You find it easy to prioritize and find solutions in various situations, even when it gets stressful.

You can express yourself well in Swedish, both orally and in writing.

Since we work in areas where a car is required, you need to have a B driver's license and also be able to cycle.
