Operations Manager for the Social Administration

The municipality of Hässleholm is now seeking an operations manager for the Social Administration with responsibility for the area of Reception, Support, and Prevention. The assignment is central to the development of the municipality's first line social services and is characterized by professionalism, a willingness to develop, and a strong focus on early and coordinated interventions, always with the residents' best interests at heart.

As an operations manager, you have a strategic and operational key role where you are responsible for ensuring that the organization provides accessible, legally secure, and high-quality services to the municipality's residents. You lead a highly competent and engaged team of managers and employees who take great responsibility and feel both pride and joy in their work. Your leadership is characterized by clarity, security, and delivery, where you lead and create conditions for people to grow, take responsibility, and succeed together.

The assignment includes first-line social services and encompasses responsibility for the administration's common reception, family law and family counseling, family center with mobile family counselors, preventive work for children with early norm-breaking behavior, as well as individual and family support that offers both universal, selective, and needs-assessed interventions. This also includes the Stella reception, teams that work with intensive home-based interventions to prevent placements, teams that work at high risk of placement in close collaboration with investigations, as well as teams that support students with long-term and concerning school absenteeism.

You will work closely with another operations manager, be part of the administration management team, and report directly to the social manager. The Social Administration has a Resource Academy that leads processes for development and learning with a focus on legal security throughout the administration. Hässleholm municipality is a Backa Barnet municipality and actively works with early coordinated interventions through, among other things, child teams, SSPF, and SIG.

You have a relevant higher education to work with children, youth, and adults within Individual and Family Care (IFO). Familiarity with interpreting laws and regulations within IFO and implementing them in practice. Several years of experience in leading and driving early and coordinated interventions within IFO is required. Experience in leading managers/processes in a politically governed organization is an advantage. You are structured and results-oriented with the ability to closely follow up, make necessary decisions, and act courageously to ensure an efficient and legally secure operation. Ability to handle both operational and strategic issues in the organization while representing the organization in the administration's management group. If you enjoy facts, research, numbers, and can translate that into follow-up, analysis, and evaluation, it is a significant advantage for the position. You have a strong commitment to creating alternatives for placements based on what is best for the child.

Interviews are planned for week 7. We in the Social Administration work to promote people's social security, equal living conditions, and active participation in community life.
