Primary care in Gotland is, like the rest of the country, in a development phase according to effective care in close collaboration with inpatient care and home healthcare, with the aim of providing good and close care.

About the Position

Wisby Söder Health Center is looking for an ST physician. The health center has just over 14,000 listed patients and about 40 employees. We have many different professional groups working together in general medicine continuity teams. We often hear that we are a pleasant, open, and structured workplace from those who come to us. You will be an important employee in our collective workplace fabric. We actively work with continuous improvement and fundamental quality work. We had a SPUR review in March 2023 and were approved with an A rating in all areas. There are, of course, also areas for improvement that we actively work on. You can find the review at Lipus.se.

Your Responsibilities

We work in continuity teams with a high degree of individualized calendars, and you will receive a lot of supervision time. You will be responsible for a tailored patient list, depending on how far you have progressed in your training and development. We strive for an efficient structure where we take care of our patients based on medical priorities.

As an ST physician, you will have allocated time for your own studies and participate in training meetings for ST physicians.

Who Are You?

We are looking for a licensed physician interested in ST in general medicine. A sense of responsibility, flexibility, and an active pursuit of knowledge, as well as an interest in working in a team with other specialists and professional groups, are important prerequisites for the job.

Language skills in Swedish at least at level B2 according to the Council of Europe's level scale are required, as well as experience with the Swedish healthcare system. A driver's license is required as on-call work is included.

Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

Before a hiring decision is made, a background check will be conducted through an extract from the criminal record.
