As a nurse at Gotland's Sjukhem, you are a valuable key person and we are looking for someone who is skilled in their profession and enjoys meeting people in various situations.

As a nurse, you are responsible for care and lead the nursing work on the ward. Your mission is to develop care and nursing and ensure that good quality is maintained within the framework of HSL. You will guide, teach, and delegate tasks to the nursing staff. Together with the nursing staff, rehabilitation, and management, we collaborate around the resident based on the individual needs of each patient.

The work involves both urgent and planned interventions, which means that you need to be able to make independent decisions. The job requires flexibility and independence. You take an active part in our joint work and our development efforts to achieve our set goals.

On weekends, you will be the manager for the entire operation, and you must have the ability to prioritize and work based on the needs of the organization.

Your response is professional in all conceivable and inconceivable situations in daily nursing work and in meetings with people, both with residents and relatives as well as with your colleagues.

Your competence and experience

You need to:

• be a licensed nurse with at least 2 years of experience.

• have good experience in documentation. We document in Treserva.

• have good knowledge of the Swedish language in both spoken and written form.

It is advantageous if you have:

• further education as a district nurse or specialist training in elderly care.

• experience working as a nurse in elderly care.

Working hours: approx. 90% - daytime and every third weekend.

During the recruitment process, a license check will be conducted via the National Board of Health and Welfare, as well as a check with the Health and Social Care Inspectorate.
