Gotland's nursing home is a care facility with a foundation in charity and love for humanity. The nursing home is located just south of the Visby city wall, within walking distance to Södercentrum. The nursing home has a sea view and a park-like garden.

As a care assistant, you are responsible for providing dignified and good care based on the individual needs of the elderly. Tasks may include assisting with daily care, serving meals, administering medication, documentation, supporting activities, and performing light cleaning tasks.

We prefer that you have experience in elderly care. It is an advantage if you are a trained nursing assistant, or if you are studying to become a nurse, social worker, or pursuing another education in healthcare. It is important that you have an interest in working in elderly care.

We place great emphasis on personal suitability and the personal qualities we are looking for include flexibility, responsiveness, and responsibility. We are looking for someone who is a positive and cheerful person and who finds it easy to collaborate.

You will work scheduled hours that include days, evenings, and weekends.

We need summer substitutes between weeks 25-33, and we prioritize candidates who can work most of the period.

You need to be computer literate and must be able to express yourself in Swedish both verbally and in writing.
