About the position

As an Operations Technician, you will work practically and systematically to ensure stable, efficient, and safe operation of our facilities. You will:

• Manage, monitor, and optimize operations according to applicable instructions
• Perform operational maintenance, repairs, and renewal work
• Contribute to the development of technology and processes
• Perform assigned roles according to internal and external requirements
• Participate in on-call duty according to schedule

Who we are looking for

You are a responsible and self-driven problem solver who enjoys a role with many contact points. We would like you to have:

• Technical high school education (3 years) and at least 2 years of relevant experience – or equivalent competence
• Driver's license B
• Ability to analyze complex issues and drive improvements

Desirable qualifications (not required, but valuable for the position)

• Certification or other training as a boiler operator
• Documented education and practical experience in any of the areas of instrumentation, electrical, and automation.
• Hot work
• Operator's license for overhead crane and wheel loader

Work environment, safety, and health

The work is physically active and may involve work in confined spaces and at heights. The position includes:

• Medical checks according to AFS 2023:15 (e.g., spirometry and hearing)
• Alcohol and drug testing before employment
• Background check against public records
• On-call duty

IT and working methods

You will use, among other things:

• Office package
• IDUS maintenance system
• NAV's digital support for operations, risk assessments, and time reporting

Conditions
