Service Technician Jönköping: The Role – More than Just Technology.

As a service technician at Miele, you will work with service, installation, and troubleshooting of our wide range of professional products: from household appliances to laundry solutions for both laundries, industry, and sensitive environments such as labs and dental.

But just as important as the technology is the feeling you give our customers. You are Miele's face to the outside world, the one who creates security, trust, and solutions when they are truly needed.

The role involves:

  • Independently plan and execute service assignments, starting from home with a service vehicle.
  • Troubleshooting, maintenance, and installation for both corporate clients.
  • Seeing and understanding the customer's needs, even when they are not explicitly stated.
  • Clear communication and advice regarding use, maintenance, and accessories.
  • Documentation and reporting in our systems.
  • Proactively contribute value, for example by recommending service agreements.
  • Sharing knowledge and experience with each other to help one another.
  • Travel may be required in the role.
  • Fieldwork and work in a workshop environment.

Requirements:

  • Have documented knowledge in electrical systems, through education or work experience
  • A strong interest in technology.
  • Experience in service work.
  • Fluent in Swedish and good English.
  • Good computer skills.
  • Driver's license B.
  • Experience in automation, networking, or chemistry is a plus.

Benefits & Conditions:

  • Collective agreement (Swedish Trade/Union).
  • 5 weeks of vacation + 3 extra days/year and 37.5 h ATF.
  • Health care allowance of 3,500 SEK/year. Lunch benefit.
  • Paid parking space for the service vehicle.
