Gislaved Folie has been manufacturing plastic films for over 80 years. We create color, shape, and function in our environment. Throughout the years, we have strived to meet our customers' needs for specific solutions while always focusing on high quality and environmentally friendly production. Our products are used, among other things, as interior design in cruise ships, in the weaving of plastic carpets, and as surface materials in the woodworking and furniture industries. We have 118 employees and a turnover of 352 million SEK (2024).

Your Responsibilities

A stimulating and qualified job where no two days are alike. The work primarily involves service and maintenance tasks to ensure the operational reliability of our process machines and supporting facilities/systems. The challenge of the position lies mainly in maintaining and further developing our unique machinery! You will be a central part of the maintenance department with eight employees and also have close cooperation with other staff in production.

Your Profile

We are looking for someone who is self-driven and takes responsibility for their work, with a natural drive and a positive attitude. You work in a structured manner and have a clear focus on order and tidiness. At the same time, you have a strong desire to learn new things and an engagement to continuously improve and develop both your own work and the business as a whole. You also have the ability to analyze work tasks and contribute improvement suggestions that create long-term value.

Qualifications

• Electrical engineering education at least at the high school level, preferably with a focus on operations and maintenance.
• Several years of experience and knowledge from service work within the manufacturing industry.
• Good knowledge in the following areas:

• Documentation/Drawing reading
• Speed-controlled drives
• PLC systems
• Control/measurement/regulation systems

Good language skills in Swedish, both spoken and written.

Desirable:

• Calibration of measurement systems
• Good language skills in English

Other:

Currently, the work is scheduled during daytime hours with scheduled on-call duty every 6th week.
