The Technical Unit works to create safe and well-maintained environments for the municipality's residents and visitors, and ahead of the summer, we are now looking for two summer workers who want to help contribute to a pleasant and sustainable public environment. Here you will have the opportunity to make a difference every day while gaining valuable experience for the future.

About the assignment

We are looking for you who want to work with operational and service tasks in the municipality's outdoor environments during weeks 25–32. Exact planning of time off/vacation will be done in dialogue, but will take place sometime during weeks 28–31.

The work is varied, and you will be part of a team responsible for ensuring that our public places are safe, well-maintained, and welcoming. A B driver's license is required for the positions, as the workplace and tasks vary across the municipality.

Job tasks

The tasks may vary, and we cannot guarantee that all tasks will be relevant, but they may include:

• Lawn mowing and maintenance of green areas
• Tilling in playgrounds
• Painting of buildings
• Painting and maintenance of play equipment
• Moving furniture and simpler logistics tasks
• Cleaning of public places, such as the square
• Custodial duties and minor repairs

Here you will have the opportunity to work both practically and independently while becoming an important part of the municipality's service work.

Who are we looking for?

• Have a B driver's license
• Enjoy physical work outdoors
• Are responsible, collaborative, and service-oriented
• Have a positive attitude and a willingness to help where needed

It is an advantage if you have experience in practical work, but the most important thing is that you have motivation and a desire to learn new things.
