About the Company
Ravema AB is a leading industrial partner in the Nordic region, providing complete solutions in production equipment, tools, measurement technology, automation, as well as service and aftermarket services to manufacturing companies.
The company is the general agent for Hoffmann Group in Sweden, Norway, and Finland, giving access to one of the market's broadest ranges of quality tools. Ravema offers comprehensive solutions – from installation and training to support and long-term service – aimed at enhancing customers' productivity and competitiveness.
The headquarters and technology center are located in Värnamo, but the business operates nationwide with a presence throughout the Nordic region.
About the Position
As a Service Engineer, you will have an independent and field-based role where you work from home. For those living in Värnamo, there is an option to start from the office, but otherwise, the workday is planned and commenced directly from home.
Working hours are 07:30–16:00, and travel time is included in working hours.
You will work on-site with customers across Sweden who have Mazak machines, primarily CNC machines such as milling machines, laser cutters, and grinding machines. The role includes both installation and commissioning of new machines as well as service and maintenance of existing equipment.
Your responsibilities include:

- Preventive maintenance and troubleshooting during downtime
- Troubleshooting mechanical components and software-related issues

- Documentation of measurement uncertainty and quality controls
The position involves extensive travel within Sweden, approximately 150 hotel nights per year. Therefore, you need to be open to a traveling job. Favorable per diem conditions apply, as well as attractive bonus and compensation systems.
This is a role for you who enjoys freedom under responsibility, appreciates variety, and wants to work closely with customers in technically advanced environments.
Location: You will work from home – ideally, you should live in central Sweden.
