Your role at VUAB

As a service technician at VUAB, you will have a varied and independent job with both planned and urgent assignments for customers across the country. You will be based at the office in Jönköping but will work in various locations where the facilities are located. You will work both independently and in teams and report to the service manager.

Your responsibilities include:

• Installation and assembly of electrical equipment
• New installation of boilers, silos, and chimneys
• Commissioning and trial operation of new facilities
• Troubleshooting, adjustments (via PLC display), and repairs
• Service and preventive maintenance
• Documentation and reporting of completed work
• Training customers in daily and weekly operations of the facility
• Collaboration with colleagues and other technicians

Who are you?

We are looking for someone who is engaged, self-driven, and structured. You have a natural service mindset and enjoy taking responsibility in customer interactions. You are solution-oriented and see opportunities rather than obstacles.

We believe you have:

• Experience in operations and maintenance, preferably as a mechanical technician/repairer
• Knowledge and experience in electrical work (meritorious with PLC, Modbus, or Profinet)
• Experience in HVAC or welding is a plus
• Previous experience in the bioenergy sector is an advantage

Requirements:

• Driving license B
• Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
